At the beginning of 2019 we realized our dream and bought a house in Lot.

Built in the Quercy style, on a hillside in a small hamlet on the edge of Montgesty, surrounded by nature with wonderful views, you can enjoy the wonderful landscape and tranquility. The main house was built from natural stone as early as 1765, the more than 250-year history can be felt everywhere.

In order to be able to offer our guests more comfort, after a short test phase of the rental in summer 2019, we started with renovation work in October of the same year.

While the country was shut down with the beginning of the corona pandemic and the associated recurring lockdowns and curfews, we really ramped up our renovation activities. The planning and construction work became more and more extensive as the pandemic continued and in the meantime we have turned the whole house upside down!

Villa Bédé now shines in new splendor with its old charm. It offers 4 double rooms each with their own bathroom with shower and toilet, plus a spacious ‘family room’ of over 40 sqm, of course also with its own bathroom, shower and toilet. Additionally it offers a large Living room with open fireplace and a spacious kitchen. All of this now results in a wonderful holiday home spread over two floors with a total of approx. 220 m².

For the colder winter months, a new central heating system has been installed.

From the house with the large covered terrace and the veranda you have wide views of the beautiful infinity pool, the garden and the valley.

The house is rented to groups (up to max. 12 people) by the week from Mai to September.

We ourselves live in the neighboring barn, which has since been converted and renovated. While the main house with the terrace and the pool face south, the terrace of the former barn faces north. This layout ensures everyone privacy! But if you do have any questions or need support, we are close by.
